Børge Mogensen’s famous J52B chair was not surprisingly one of the first design classics that FDB Møbler chose to relaunch in the new era. Børge Mogensen is not just one of the most famous figures in Danish furniture design. He has also created one of FDB Furniture’s most iconic chairs: J52B. The chair was also sold to the United States, where it became known as President Kennedy’s favorite lounge chair. Besides being a design classic, it is also a really comfortable chair that can be used as a dining chair, as a freestanding piece of furniture or as a chair to relax in – as Kennedy apparently did.
