Designed by Jin Kuramoto this bowl was inspired by a visit to heat press molding factory, a lonely insole spotted in a corner provided a fascination with the technique of fabric fused in a hot metal tool press. This soft yet structured piece plays with the idea of material, function and form and asks the question, ‘What is the definition and perception of a basket and bowl?’ This piece comes in two shapes and is made from furniture grade fabric by Kvadrat is both soft yet holds a form, it can be used in many situations, a bedside bowl for your watch or glasses or an organizer for your knitting yarns perhaps?you choose.
